I would happily trade all my seven world titles for Olympic Gold.
Nicol David, 7x World Champion from Malaysia
Olympics are the holy grail for anyone in sport and I’m no different. I believe squash has so much to offer, and the fact that other great athletes turn to it for their training proves the fact. We really want in to the Olympic Games, and to compete there would be just incredible.
David Palmer, World No. 10 from Australia
I guess we deserve to be in the Olympics as squash has grown so much in terms of popularity over the last few years.
Sarah Fitz-Gerald, 5x World Champion, Australia

A Sport for Life
Squash is a very physically demanding sport and it’s also very spectator-friendly. The nature of the game means that it works really well—it’s fast and exciting—and it has all the qualities required to make it a great Olympic sport. I don’t know why it isn’t in already.
Victoria Pendleton, Olympic Gold Medalist, Cycling
I think it’s really interesting that you can have a sport like squash which is so universal. You have it played in over 150 countries and people of all different shapes and sizes can play it. Each sport is different and has different properties. In rowing, if you’re not 6ft 5 it’s hard to compete, but squash can be played by everyone.
